As a trained meteorologist, I chase all types of extreme weather. From tornadoes and supercell thunderstorms to blizzards and ice storms, I enjoy every season and find that each has dramatic beauty to capture in the atmosphere. The Mid-Atlantic is my focus region, where an alley of weather influenced by the Blue Ridge Mountains provides a constant source of interesting events. I also chase the Great Plains of the central USA where the most intense storms on the planet often occur.
